I've always loved Tintin, and his advantures—and Herge's art—did a lot indeed to inspire me to become the traveler that I am. Thanks for this great piece!
I never got into Tintín as a child but will definitely share him with our 6 year old. Curious what he’ll think. Would love to see him start exploring the world with him!
I’ve been a fan for decades since my school days ! I travelled even without leaving my living room !! What adventures they were ! Tintin represents all the honest and beautiful collective consciousness of the world ! ❤️
I read Tintin books to my son when he was six years old (he just turned 38 yesterday). Now he reads those same books to his son and daughter. His birthday present was a boxed set of the complete series (our 30 year copies have become a bit raggedy).
Here’s an essay about my reading Tintin him when we lived in a small village in West Africa, back in 1993 . . .

🙏🏽 glad you liked it!
I still have my Tintin's, 50 years on. Greatest children's book covers ever created.

Awesome! Can definitely see your curiosity theme in Tintin’s narrative
Have curiosity — will travel!
